At the 6th annual AASA national conference on March 7, Mineola Superintendent of Schools Dr. Michael Nagler was recognized as the 2024 CoSN and AASA’s EmpowerED Digital Superintendent of the Year.

AASA and the Consortium for School Networking, launched a partnership in 2019 committed to building a community of engaged superintendents and other school system leaders who have the skills and knowledge to bolster dynamic digital learning environments on behalf of K-12 students.

The annual award recognizes an exceptional district superintendent who serves as a true empowered leader, leveraging and championing technologies in the classroom and throughout the district to transform their school district.
