Recently, members of the Mineola High School A Capella Choir were joined by Hofstra University Director of Choral Activities Dr. David Fryling for an engaging and inspiring masterclass on the art of a capella.

Dr. Fryling worked with the singers on creating healthy and beautiful sounds that can be used to tell a story, give sound to an emotion and connect both the singers and the audience to an idea and feeling.

The learners were excited to work with the award winning music educator who took time to answer individual questions and encouraged the young singers to find their unique voice and become part of the choral culture in their community.
