Congratulations to MHS juniors Skyla Azeharie and Toniann Guerreiro for being awarded “Best Project” honors for their science research presentations at the Long Island Youth Summit, which took place at St. Joseph’s University on March 31.

In the category of “Renewable Energy”, Skyla won the Best Project Award for her project “Pandemic Habits: Combating the Climate Crisis through Meat Consumption Diet Alterations.”

In the category of “Ethical and Social Implications of Science and Technology”, Toniann won the Best Project Award for her project “Radon: The Silent Killer.”
