For the learners in the Environmental Club, every day is Earth Day!

At a recent meeting, Ms. Kennedy’s students were decorating butterflies that will brighten up the Town of North Hempstead Arbor Day festivities and were planting sunflowers that will be taken care of in the classroom until they’re ready to be put in the ground at the student’s homes.

They also were planning upcoming park clean-up events that will help make Long Island a more natually beautiful place to live.
