Eleven AP Research students were selected as finalists and recognized during a ceremony at the 14th annual Long Island Youth Summit, which was held on March 31 at St. Joseph’s University.
The students were recognized for their yearlong research projects, which included presentations on celebrity worship syndrome, the adaptation of the four-day school week in public schools, meat consumption and the climate crisis and revision of the New York State military education system.
We are #MineolaProud of these learners for their determination and tenacity as they progress in this challenging program:
The Long Island Youth Summit brings together students from throughout Long Island for a day of interactive workshops with experts in the fields of medicine, the environment, business and the economy, and leadership.
