Second grade learners turned their classrooms into different habitats and the took turn visiting each in order to learn more about each unique environment, including plants and animals that thrive there.

Habitats that took over Meadow for the day included:
Oceans
Forests
Deserts
Tundra
Tropical Rainforests
Temperate Grasslands

Students explored each habitat (classroom) and learned more about it from the students in that class, through worksheets, posters, decorations and presentations.

All learners had to complete their own worksheet comparing and contrasting each habitat.
