Mineola HS’s FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) team #6806 took home the “Engineering Inspiration Award” at the Finger Lakes Regional in Rochester, which qualifies them for the FIRST World Championship, which will be held in Houston April 19-23.

Their robot “Ghost” ranked highly in the competition and was a first-pick for the finals. The “Engineering Inspiration Award” celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within the school and community.
