The district congratulates high school seniors Ximena Osorio, Daniela Ortez and Emma Gutierrez on completing the 10-week “Foundation & Figure Drawing” course at Adelphi University.

To celebrate their success, the three AP Art students and National Art Honor Society officers were honored at a ceremony at the university where the artwork they created during the program was on display.

Adelphi University’s 10-week art intensive, For the Love of Art, gives high school students the opportunity to improve and fine-tune their artistic craft. Students are nominated by their art teachers in order to be accepted into the program.
