Dear Hampton Street Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! On behalf of our entire faculty and staff, I am excited to begin another year together. To our returning families, welcome back; to those joining our community for the very first time, we are eager to welcome you and your children into our school family.
Hampton Street is incredibly proud to be the home of the Mini-Mustangs! Here, our young learners build essential skills for life. From developing and strengthening executive functions like working memory and problem-solving, to practicing kindness and collaboration, our daily focus is on supporting the whole child. Through social-emotional learning and meaningful school experiences, our students grow into both capable learners and caring individuals.
Creating a supportive learning environment requires a strong partnership between home and school. Our team works tirelessly to prepare engaging classrooms, refined routines, and thoughtful activities to help every child thrive. We encourage you to stay connected, communicate regularly, participate in school events as you can, and collaborate with our PTA to help build and sustain the strong, vibrant Hampton community around our students.
Thank you for your partnership and trust as we start this new school year. I look forward to working alongside you and watching our Mini-Mustangs learn, grow, and succeed!
Warm regards,
Amaris Melendez
Principal
