The Mineola UFSD Facilities Department is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and operation of all school buildings and grounds within the district. This includes ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment conducive to learning for students and staff. Their duties encompass a wide range of tasks, from routine repairs and preventative maintenance to managing larger capital projects, energy efficiency initiatives, and the use of district facilities by community groups. The department, led by the Director of School Facilities, is integral to providing the necessary maintenance of the physical infrastructure that supports the educational mission of the Mineola Union Free School District.
