mINNeola Macaroni Raises $2,700 for the Mary Brennan INN
On March 26. the Mineola community came together for the annual "mINNneola Macaroni" fundraiser, an evening of food and friends dedicated to helping Long Islanders in need. We are #MineolaProud to announce that this year’s event raised $2,700 for the Mary Brennan INN, a local non-profit that provides essential services to those challenged by hunger, homelessness and poverty.
During the event, Mineola High School learners served up a variety of pasta dishes, salad and desserts, all of which were generously provided by Uncle Bacala’s Restaurant in Garden City Park. The evening was a true community effort, with guests including district administration, faculty, students and local senior citizens.
The "mINNneola Macaroni" dinner is a signature initiative of the Mineola High School Student Service Center, a hub dedicated to fostering empathy and leadership through civic engagement. Each year, our learners contribute thousands of hours of community service, reinforcing the district’s commitment to graduating compassionate global citizens who value service to others.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this wonderful cause!
