Mineola Alumni Return to Inspire Current Learners

On Jan. 9, Mineola High School welcomed back over 50 graduates from the Class of 2025 for its annual Alumni Day. This tradition gives current students a first-hand look at life beyond high school while allowing alumni to reconnect with teachers and friends.
The highlight of the day was the classroom discussions, where alumni shared insights about their post-graduation experiences. Students asked questions about daily college routines, involvement in sports and extracurricular activities, study habits, time management, Greek life, access to support and resources and adjusting to college life. After their classroom visits, alumni roamed the halls and revisited their old classrooms, reminiscing with teachers and reconnecting with familiar spaces.
The day concluded with lunch, giving alumni, faculty and administrators a chance to share memories, laughter and celebrate the Mineola community. #MineolaProud
