On Aug. 27, the district was #MineolaProud to welcome our new team members for the 2026-2027 school year, including teachers, student interns, residents and support staff.

Supported by district leadership, the new educators participated in the annual New Educator Orientation Day. The morning began at the Synergy building with a deep dive into the Mineola mission and culture, alongside district procedures and policies designed to ensure a smooth transition starting on day one. Following the presentation, the cohort departed on a guided bus tour of the district’s school facilities and community neighborhoods.

The district is proud to welcome these outstanding educators and future teachers to the family and looks forward to the talent, expertise and enthusiasm they will bring to our schools and classrooms.
