MHS Drama Club Delivers Dynamic Production of “Once Upon a One More Time”
Mineola High School’s Drama Club delivered a spectacular weekend of performances with its spring musical, “Once Upon a One More Time,” delighting audiences with an energetic production that blended classic fairy tales with the chart-topping music of Britney Spears.
Presented March 13-14 in front of enthusiastic crowds, the show brought a fresh twist to familiar storybook characters. In the musical, a rogue fairy godmother inspires classic princesses to question their traditional roles and embark on a journey to rewrite their own stories and redefine “happily ever after.”
Featuring 23 of Britney Spears’ biggest hits, the production transformed the stage into a vibrant musical celebration filled with dynamic choreography, colorful costumes and powerful performances from the talented student cast.
Months of preparation, dedication and collaboration went into bringing the show to life. From performers on stage to students behind the scenes on lighting, sound, stage design and costumes, the production showcased the creativity and commitment of Mineola High School’s theater program. The show also marked the final production under the direction of Matt DeLuca, who will be retiring at the end of this school year.
The district congratulates the entire cast, crew, pit musicians and directors for presenting a memorable production and sharing their talents with the school community. Their hard work and passion for the performing arts made “Once Upon a One More Time” a truly unforgettable theatrical experience.
