Joining the Mineola Music Parents Association is easy.....
Membership is open to any person with a legitimate interest in and a desire to be an organized supporter of Mineola Music. The Mineola Music Parents Association is a an organization working in conjunction with the Mineola Union Free School District's Fine Arts Department to support the endeavors of all students participating in Mineola High School Music Department programs.
The Mineola Music Parents Association (MMPA) provides support to the programs and activities involving students from Chorus, Concert Band, Orchestra, Marching Band and Rockettes and Winterguard. The MMPA's activities include fundraising, hospitality, publicity and communication with the school community. One of the most important functions for music parents is to provide a "support audience" at concerts, parades, band & Winterguard competitions and other events throughout the community.
To join the Mineola Music Parents Association fill out the membership form and mail to the Mineola High School, attn: Mineola Music Parents Association Membership, Armstrong Road, Garden City Park, NY 11040. The dues for the Mineola Music Parents Association are $10 per family.
