Over 200 works of student art were on display at the Mineola School District Art Show, which was held on April 4 at Mineola High School.
Parents, friends and faculty browsed the exhibit, which featured artwork created by Mineola K-12 learners from each of the five district schools. The styles represented included paint, drawing, sculpture and mixed media.
Among the outstanding works on display were items recently selected for the All-County Art Exhibition by the Art Supervisors Association and nature-inspired clay sculptures that will be installed as part of an outdoor “Garden Project” exhibit at Jackson Avenue School.
