Mineola Public Schools has once again been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from the NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education. This prestigious recognition is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all learners. This is the seventeenth year that Mineola has been honored with this designation.

The NAMM Foundation is a nonprofit supported in part by the National Association of Music Merchants and its 15,000 member companies and individual professionals. The foundation advances active participation in music making across the lifespan by supporting scientific research, philanthropic giving, and public service programs.

We are #MineolaProud to recognize our musical learners, who demonstrate outstanding talent and commitment to their craft throughout the year, and the tireless dedication and passion of our music educators, who share their love of music and are focused on bringing out the best in all students.

The district is #MineolaProud to announce that we have been recognized as an Apple Distinguished School District.  

Mineola is one of only 18 districts worldwide to be recognized with this designation.

School districts are selected for this distinction based on their commitment to continuous innovation in education across all schools in the system, and using Apple products to inspire, imagine, and impact teaching and learning districtwide.
