In its first ever Battle of the Classes competition, Mineola High School
classes and teacher teams went head-to-head in several exciting events
to benefit the school’s Student Organization Scholarship Fund and
individual classes. Following a week of spirit activities, including a
Hampton Street and Meadow Drive schools held their annual STEAM Fair for

Second-grade students at Meadow Drive School completed a mural to contribute to the school’s library. The mural, an ocean scene was created according to theme of “discovery.” The mural will be the third of four to be included in the school’s library.
Following a nonficition unit on animals, first-grade students in Mrs. Wilson’s class at Meadow Drive School became experts on their researched animal and created a living zoo.
