On Nov. 15, Mineola Fine and Performing Arts sent 24 high school theater learners to Stage the Change Conference at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts. It was a day filled with inspiring workshops and powerful performances with a special keynote by Tony and Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth.

The conference gives high school theater, film and dance students the chance to collaborate with other students and professionals and learn how they can make a difference through the arts.

A highlight of the day was when our very own Grace Cosgrove was picked to ask a question of Ms. Chenoweth during the keynote!

Our learners were fully focused and engaged in all aspects of the conference and left feeling energized, empowered, and maybe even a little starstruck, ready to use their talents to make the world a better place.
