Meadow Drive students “walked and rolled” to school on Oct. 6 in honor of National Pedestrian Safety Month. Instead of taking the bus or being driven to school, many students safely walked with an adult or rode bikes and scooters during arrival time. Meadow Drive teachers and staff even met students at local meetup spots, to accompany students as they walked and rolled to the building.
The event was meant to raise awareness and teach students about pedestrian safety. It also gave students the opportunity to be active ahead of the school day.
