Saving the Bees

Saving the Bees photo
First grade students at Meadow have been following the Mineola MUSTANG acronym to become changemakers. Working in teams, students marveled about a problem, understood the problem, and shared it with their group, who then tinkered to make a prototype and then analyzed and navigated the prototype for any needed changes. In the final step, students used Legos to generate their finished creations, which were based on the theme of creating a change in the world. Pictured, students from Ms. Cormack’s class created inventions to help save the bees. They created their projects with the help of Mrs. Pearsall and Mrs. Bellusci.
