Super Bowl Party

Monday, February 6th our 5th Grade PBL students hosted a "Healthy Super Bowl Party" in keeping with their Healthy Lifestyles Curriculum. Our PBL teachers and students worked hard researching and preparing low calorie alternatives to traditional game watching snacks. This party began in the Auditorium with a brief presentation showcasing the process students took to create their foods. Students and teachers then transitioned to the cafeteria where they were met by chili (turkey and vegetarian), spinach and onion dips made with low-calorie Greek yogurt, three different types of salsa and even individually portioned homemade pita chips for dipping.
